EVENT INFO

Volleybash is a beach volleyball tournament for everyone!

28 years ago, a love for the sport of beach volleyball led to the creation of the largest and longest running beach volleyball tournament on Vancouver Island, Volleybash.

This annual event is a favorite among players from all across the province including Vancouver, Kelowna, and of course Vancouver Island. It attracts a variety of players of different levels and ages, but they all come to Parksville to have fun and play volleyball.

The 3-day tournament features 32 courts and 1 feature court. In 2017, 115 teams competed with a total of 285 athletes participating.

The event is run by Oceanside Outdoor Sport in partnership with Volleyball BC. All proceeds go to support the Women’s National Volleyball Team.

COMMITTEE MEMBERS

It takes a team of dedicated volunteers to put together an event of this magnitude. The Volleybash committee members are in charge of everything from choosing start times to organizing the social event. If you see any of them at the event make sure to give them a big high five for all their hard work!
